The way they fit tends to leave significant gaps around your ears, which affects how well they isolate noise. Two people might also find they have different sound profiles. That said, they’re well-built, have a great battery life, and are still okay for most uses.

Their companion app has a sound personalization feature that creates a custom sound profile based on the results of a 6-minute listening test, but we don’t know how well it performs and there are no other EQ options.

The Beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless are acceptable for commute and travel, but they’re not ideal. Although they have a closed-back design, they don’t isolate noise very well and will let in all the low thumps and rumbles of bus or plane engines. They also have a rather bulky design that doesn’t fold into a more compact format, so they’ll take up a lot of space in your bag or luggage, even in their carrying case. On the upside, their excellent 30-hour battery life will make it through even the longest international flight.

You could achieve low enough latency for PC gaming with aptX-LL enabled, but you would need to purchase a specific Bluetooth adapter for this purpose.

They come with an audio cable that has an in-line mic so you can plug them into your desktop computer and enjoy both audio and chat support virtually lag-free. Phone Calls

The Beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless are disappointing for phone calls. While their microphone recording quality is decent in quiet environments, like in an empty meeting room or silent hallway, you’ll be a lot harder to understand as soon as you get in a noisier environment. That said, they do come with an 1/8″ TRRS audio cable that has an in-line microphone which could help a bit since you change how it’s positioned near your mouth.

В смартфоне, в отличие от большинства конкурентов, используется всего один модуль основной камеры — Motion Eye с сенсором IMX400 (тот же, что и в XZ Premium) на 19 МП со светосилой F2.0, фокусным расстоянием 25 мм и электронной стабилизацией. Днем при хорошем свете фотографии получаются, что логично, качественные — цвета сочные, объекты детализированные, баланс белого не шалит. В помещениях проблем тоже не возникло, гибридный автофокус (фазовый и лазерный) работает без нареканий. В темноте качество, конечно, падает, появляется шум, но цвета остаются правильными, а снимки — вполне детальными.

В интерфейсе камеры можно быстро сменить режим работы с фото на видео и наоборот (простым свайпом влево-вправо), выбрать соотношение сторон фотографий, вручную подстроить яркость и баланс белого. Более широкие настройки доступны уже в дополнительных меню.

В смартфоне предусмотрена функция автоматического запуска камеры: достаточно поднять его в ландшафтном режиме и направить на объект, и он запустит камеру, предварительно спросив, точно ли нужно это сделать.

Фронтальная камера тоже одинарная, на 13 МП. Для того, чтобы показать свое лицо интересующимся, ее более чем достаточно.

Как и XZ Premium, из которого перекочевал сенсор, XZ3 поддерживает замедленную съемку, оснащен предиктивным автофокусом и функцией предиктивной съемки, пишет видео в 4K HDR.

Accessories & Packaging:

It’s just as well that you aren’t going to be using these for smartphone listening. Having to tote around a damn-near ten foot cable would get old fast. Admittedly, it’s a well-built cable, two strand, with a 3.5mm jack at one end that can be adapted into a 6.3mm one with the included plug. It’s just very long. Outside of that, the only accessory you get is a fairly bog-standard, rigid, zippered case. While this does the job of holding and protecting the headphones, its black surface attracts dust, and the tiny pouch on the inside is simply insufficient to hold the cable when it’s detached. It has similar problems to the case that came with the old Sennheiser HD1s (full review here), which was also a magnet for dust. Those headphones, by the way, are excellent — if you want a wireless option, check them out. They’re cheaper, too, at $245 to the Amiron Homes’ $599.

All the accessories work reasonably well, but we can’t help feeling that, in this case, Beyerdynamic went a little bit too far onto the industrial side of things. The packaging is fairly standard, too, with a simple cardboard box that gets the job done without being ostentatious. At this price range – $600 or so – it’s almost a little disappointing to see that the packaging and accessories are little more than ticking boxes. Still, when the actual headphones themselves are this good, it’s not a deal breaker.

Кейс Beyerdynamic Amiron не совсем твёрдый, но и не мягкий. Форму держит, но ронять его с наушниками на бетон не стоит. То, что кабель съёмный – несомненный плюс. Однако, двустороннее подключение довольно неожиданно. Обычно оно встречается уже у самых топовых моделей (или, наоборот, самых дешёвых), и используются там не jack-разъёмы. Может, это намёк на «премиумность».

Build and comfort

You’re unlikely to have many complaints about how these headphones feel.

Beyerdynamic has used alcantara microfibres (a blend of polyester and polyurethane with a similar texture to suede) and microvelour to make the earcups and headband.

The result is that you could easily wear these headphones for hours on end, and while that may sound like marketing spiel, the Amiron manages to live up to it.

These headphones sit on your head easily, without feeling heavy, and the pads around their 45mm drivers give even the largest ears enough space.

Connecting the cans to your amp is a 3m long cable, with a 6.3mm jack that unscrews to reveal a 3.5mm connection.

As is to be expected from open-back headphones, the Amirons leak sound like a sieve – while the benefit is a larger, more spacious quality to your music, be aware that other people around you will be able to hear it too.

Overview

It is hard to say which is better, the Beyerdynamic T1 or the Beyerdynamic Amiron Home. You’ll like the Amiron Home if you like a more accented low-mid response. You’ll also like it if you have a little bit of a less powerful amplifier. However, you’ll like the T1 better if you priorities dynamic quickness. If you have a powerful amplifier than can push these 600 ohm headphones, I highly recommend it because its dynamics contribute positively to its emotional translation of music.

Comfort & Fit:

Weight

There are three things that make these headphones the most comfortable on earth. The first is the weight. The Amiron Homes weigh 12 ounces. Objectively, not very much less than something like the similarly-shaped Fostex TH610s — a pair we have in for review at the moment — and which weigh 13 ounces. It’s not particularly heavy, but all the same, we couldn’t help feeling that these headphones were just…light. There really is no other way to put it. Holding them, they feel almost weightless.

Clamping Pressure

The second thing – and it leads on directly from the first – is the clamping pressure. This is such a small thing, but if it’s off, it can ruin the whole experience. Too loose on your skull, and the whole kit and caboodle slides off the moment you tilt your head. Too tight, and it can stop you listening to your brand-new headphones for longer than an hour, which is the most deeply annoying kind of problem to have. And yet, as important as it is, it’s incredibly tricky to get right. Since everyone has a different size noggin, getting a particular type of material to have just the right amount of flex and torsion in all circumstances is crazy difficult. Somehow, Beyer have managed it. The clamping pressure of the Amiron Homes is perfect. Really, there’s not much more we can say to add to that. Compare it to something like the Audeze EL-8 Titaniums — a pair of high-end closed-back headphones which retail for around $400 and which — and it’s apples and oranges.

The third thing is the microvelour. It’s what the cups and headband are covered with, and it is perfect. As lush and soft and rich as a pair of silk sheets. If there’s a better material to have against your head — and this includes leather — we haven’t found it. It. Is. Perfect. In terms of comfort and fit, the Amiron Home headphones do everything right and nothing wrong. They are just phenomenal.

(Update: An earlier version of this review stated that you couldn’t swap out the microvelour pads. Beyerdynamic’s Doris Henzler has since been in touch, letting us know that this isn’t the case: «Just put your finger in the small gap between ear pad and ear cup and then pull the ear pad away from the cup,” she told us. “It might need a little force but will definitely work.» We’ve confirmed this — the cups pop off without too much trouble, meaning you can replace them down the line if they get worn out. We apologize for the error.)

7. Качество звука

Звук beyerdynamic Aventho wireless на первый взгляд показался мне не достаточно детальным и акцентированным. Но в итоге, с этими моментами я разобрался, посредством включения aptX и с помощью настроек приложения..

Звук у bluetooth наушников с незначительным уклоном в сторону низких частот, изначально показался немного смазанный и немного ватным (но это можно ). СЧ и ВЧ не забиваются низкими, баланс хороший. В меру динамичный и акцентированный, позицианирование очень живое. Все жанры в наушниках звучат хорошо. Особенно мне зашли классические произведения, со струнными и духовыми.

НЧ. Мягкие и натуральные. Бочка, бас и синты звучат отлично.
СЧ. Слегка проваленные, исправляется эквалайзером.
ВЧ. Изначально немного не хватает, но не критично. Этот недостаток (если для вас он будет актуален) правится эквалайзером.

В целом, звук для беспроводных накладных наушников на хорошем уровне. К примеру, в не совсем честном сравнении, с теме же Marshall Major III Bluetooth или Harman/Kardon Soho Wireless, звук Aventho wireless на голову выше. В более честном сравнении с Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H8, общее качество примерно на одном на уровне. Но если включить aptX HD, то перевес в детализации и меньшем шуме, в сторону beyerdynamic Aventho wireless.

The Competition:

Although they are closed-back, the Audio-Technica ATH-W1000Z cans do a very good job at competing with the sound of the Amiron Homes – and at a lower price point. While the audio quality might not be right up there with the Beyerdynamics, it’s refined and elegant enough to warrant a second look. The design is a little more sensual, too, with teak ear-cups and leather pads. The comfort level is nowhere near that of the Beyers, but this is an aesthetic that will probably hold wider appeal. Go check them out. They are about $200 cheaper, too.

Then there’s the classic AKG K712. We finally had a chance to hear these headphones – for whatever reason, a pair had eluded us – and we really liked them. They sound neutral and natural, and are particularly good at articulating vocals. While this makes them a little more specialised than the Beyers, it definitely means they are a worthy alternative. The huge cups and design may not appeal to everyone, but the comfort level is good. We really like the orange accents too, which set the headphones apart from the competition. At $399, they are pretty much the same price as the ATH-W1000Z cans mentioned above, and about $200 less than the Amiron Homes.

Get the AUDEZE LCD2Cs if you want increased bass response | The Master Switch

If warm, lush bass is more your thing, may we suggest a pair of AUDEZE LCD2C? While slightly more expensive than the $599 Beyerdynamics, at $799, and not quite as comfy, they reward you with some genuinely brilliant low-end. The soundstage is better, too, thanks to the planar dynamic drivers. We adore these headphones, and while they aren’t as neutral as the Beyers, they remain excellent.

Beyer offer plenty of other headphones too — try the Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro. At an identical price to the Amiron Homes, and with similar specs, you might reasonably wonder why we offer these as an alternative. They don’t have the comfort level or aesthetics, but what they lack in design, they make up for in pinpoint precise sound. These are the headphones you go for if you want absolutely nothing getting in the way of your music – if you want to analyse it exactly as it’s presented. These are also ideal if you’re actually making music, and looking to check mixes using headphones. They aren’t nearly as much fun as the Amiron Homes, but they are still bloody good — and are actually slightly cheaper, at around $580, depending where you buy.

ВЧ. Верхние частоты всегда были «бичом» Beyerdynamic. По крайней мере, в современных моделях. У Amiron Home на ВЧ есть явный подъём, даже пик. На некоторых композициях появляются неприятные сибилянты. Особенно ярко на недостаточно качественном усилителе. Акцент на ВЧ явный, много «воздуха», диапазон звучит натурально и ярко.

Детальность. Наушники дают очень детальную картину. Вы услышите всё, что есть на записи. Есть некоторые моменты, касательно того, что верхняя середина кажется немного задвинутой и не такой детальной, как хотелось бы, но это на фоне Hi-End моделей за такую же стоимость и дороже.

Общий почерк Beyerdynamic Amiron Home: светлый звук; скорее мягкий, чем агрессивный; скорее спокойный, чем динамичный. Соответственно, и располагают наушники к прослушиванию классики, оркестровой музыки, джаза, блюза и прочих живых и сложных стилей. На расслабляющей электронике тоже показываются себя достойно. Энергичные же стили в данной модели звучат слишком «расслаблено», драйва тут почти нет.

Только качественный источник с хорошим усилением сможет раскрыть потенциал Beyerdynamic Amiron Home. Да, их можно подключить и к телефону, кабель позволяет, но не стоит. Наушники весьма сложные в «раскачке». И дело тут не только в сопротивлении (250 Ом), но и в технологии Tesla. Усилитель должен быть мощный и качественный. Про lossless музыку и упоминать не стоит, вряд ли тот, кто готов потратить на наушники 760$ станет слушать через них mp3.

Sound

And the fact that your music will sound larger is a definite positive for these headphones – their sound quality is superb.

Blasting a rock classic, the bagpipes in AC/DC’s are a good test of how a pair of headphones can handle treble. The Amiron takes them in its stride, keeping a good grip on the high frequencies without any harshness.

On the softer side, the midrange vocals in Fountains of Wayne’s come across clearly too, giving an insightful rendition of the way that Chris Collingwood drags and emphasises the ends of his words that the Audio Technica headphones just can’t quite match.

There’s also tightness to the Amirons’ timing.

The regular high-pitched pips that run in the background throughout the song are kept regular and rhythmic – which is vital when the focus of half the song is on someone hooked up to a heart monitor.

And the headphones do a nice job of keeping track of instruments, even during the busier clash of distorted synths, drums, and guitars in Mitski’s album.

remains resolutely organised when coming out of the Amirons, building to the climax without losing track of Mitski’s voice and ensuring that stays intact amidst the chaos and feedback.

There’s no question that the Amirons can dig down into the lower frequencies either, even without the emphasis on bass that the closed-back headphones have.

The growling engine in Queen’s is solid and detailed when starting up in the middle of the song. While other headphones might sound more energetic, the Amirons don’t force any extra enthusiasm into the song.

The dynamism and punch in Queen’s low beats or AC/DC’s power chords comes straight from the music, rather than being hyped up by the headphones.

The level of level of transparency and range that these Amirons provide means that, if you put high quality sound into it, you’ll get high quality sound out of it.

Яркие ВЧ. Особенно это проявляется при недостаточном качестве усиления, высокие могут ощутимо «резать ухо». Но даже на правильной системе многим наушники покажутся излишне светлыми и яркими на ВЧ.
Комплект. Очень скудно для своей цены. Да, кейс качественный, кабель съёмный, но не помешали бы запасные амбушюры, да и кабель второй тоже.
